The University of Iowa campus community is invited to an update on the rebuilding of Hancher Auditorium, the School of Music and the Art Building, as well as Iowa Memorial Union repairs and mitigation, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the large auditorium of Art Building West, 141 N. Riverside Drive, Iowa City.
UI President Sally Mason, UI Foundation President and CEO Lynette Marshall, Rod Lehnertz, director of planning, design and construction in facilities management and architects involved in the project and representatives of the programs that will be housed in these facilities will share design renderings, the latest information about funding, estimated construction timelines and other details. Attendees also may tourthe art building, the latest flood-damaged building to reopen, after the formal presentation and a question-and-answer session. Refreshments will be provided.
Parking for the event is available in Lot 42, directly behind ABW, and to the north in the Hancher commuter lot.
