UI Arts Campus Moves Ahead With Rebuilding Efforts

The University is moving ahead with rebuilding plans for the UI Arts Campus!  Architects are now in place for a new Art and Art History Building (Steven Holl), Hancher Auditorium (Pelli, Clark, Pelli) and the School of Music (LMN,) and are busy with their preliminary work, including assembling their design teams and fleshing out the building programming.

Donors have been asking when they can start making gifts to rebuild those facilities and the answer is now!

We have advised donors to wait with their gifts until we were assured that those gifts would not have a negative impact on FEMA funding. We are delighted that we can finally accept gifts for these buildings. If you have any questions about contributing to the new School of Music, please contact Jane Van Voorhis, Associate Director of Development at The University of Iowa Foundation by calling 319-467-3765 or emailing her at jane-van-voorhis@uiowa.edu.
